We consider the following to be indisputably true:
- Democrat leaders and members in Congress are almost entirely duplicitous, deceitful liars who have no business representing We the People.
- Democrat leaders and members in Congress are not listening to the American people, who in poll after poll indicate increasing resistance to all of the Democrat proposed health care deformities. We have yet to see a poll that indicates that Americans favor these proposed boondoggles.
- Democrat leaders and members in Congress are incapable of participating in good faith. There is no such thing as honor among these people – period. We even suspect that the so-called “Blue-Dogs” are really shills for the Democrats to use in order to show that there is no “lock-step” agreement within their party. (Prove us wrong, Blue Dogs, and we’ll take it back.)
- Democrats say that they want transparency, but we have never once seen it. Not once. They are liars. They are worse than liars, but our thesaurus doesn’t give us a stronger word to use.
In our view, you don’t negotiate with people who come to you in bad-faith. After all, what’s the point. You shake hands, and they have their fingers crossed behind their backs. Then they go do whatever they want to do, regardless of the supposed agreement. The only purpose of shaking hands is to buy their side time to execute their nefarious plans. There is no other purpose – period. You cannot negotiate with people who come to the table in bad faith.
We propose that whenever health care comes up in the senate or the house, that whoever is the first Republican to have the floor, that he or she says the following:
“We find the Democrats to be duplicitous, unyielding, dishonest, cliquish, and fully characterized by the words bad-faith. They do not listen to the American people, who in poll after poll have indicated their displeasure with the Democrat proposed legislation. Because they completely lock the Republicans out, because they lie about the suggestions we have made, we have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the only reason that Republicans are in this chamber at this time is so that the Democrats can put on a dog-and-pony show of bipartisanship, which the American people need to know is a complete fraud. Therefore, we are as a group, walking. We will not try to slow down the Democrats. Let anything that they pass be 100% on their heads. And God help us all.”
This would be standing for principle. This would be standing up for America.
We urge all Republicans to do this. And any Democrat that also walks would immediately receive our apology regarding he or she operating in bad faith.
This is a Mr. Smith Goes to Washington moment, ladies and gentlemen. We urge you to do the right thing and boycott the Messiah.
We could embed the video here, but we’d rather support a fellow conservative’s blog, where we found it. That way you get to find out that you are even less alone with your conservative views than you previously thought. There’s a lot of us out here; you just need to hook up.
The video we’re pointing you to is funny; production values are great … but mainly it’s so true!
