We try to find good Democrats in Congress and there are very few. We also look for good Republicans in office, and while there seem to be few there as well, they are not the ones in power right now. And despite all the yahoos claiming that there is no difference between the Rs and the Ds, can anyone – anyone – imagine Boehner legislating the way that Pelosi does? Can anyone – anyone – imagine the Rs proposing legislation that looks even remotely like the socialist power grabs by the current Congress? We can’t. And anyone who thinks that the Rs and the Ds would create and propose similar legislation lives in a la-la land that should preclude them from voting.

So – the Messiah is calling for a “bipartisan” summit on health care tomorrow.

We call on the Rs to do the following: IF the Messiah turns out to be engaging in pure theater, help him with the drama. How? There would be nothing you could do as dramatic as to say mid-way through the performance, “Mr. President, this is pure theater. We will not help you sell America down the river. We’re outa here.” And then leave Blair House in full view of the American people. We fully believe that you would be cheered back home in ways that you haven’t heard in years! Oh – the lamestream media would hate you for it. But since it’s theater, you can play it for all it’s worth, and the lamestreamers wouldn’t know what to do. Should they cover you leaving? Should they act as if nothing happened? They’d be a bunch of confused nebobs and you could go home, look your constituents in the eye and say, “We stood up for America – for you!” And you’d mean it; and we’d know it; and we’d appreciate it.

So – Toyota is apologizing again. OK – that’s fine. And so far, to its credit, the Committee investigating this seems to be doing a reasonable job. But we want to see the same vigilance that is being mustered relative to Toyota be applied to the spending practices of Taxpayer Motors. We believe that all Taxpayer Motors cars are fiscally flawed from the jump, and that is true before a single piece of metal is laid out as part of the chassis. Where is the outrage that the secured investors at Taxpayer Motors were royally screwed by Obama? Why is there no outcry from the Ds? Again – can anyone imagine the Rs nationalizing a car company and screwing the secured investors? If you can, and if you believe what you imagine, then, again, your vote shouldn’t count since you obviously believe in the tooth fairy, perpetual motion and you think that Pelosi is an intelligent person.

So – it turns out that the Messiah is a liah. On Beck’s show yesterday, we saw Obama tell talking news heads that his ties to Acorn were ancient and superficial. Then Beck played video footage showing Obama swearing that he was practically blood brothers with this anti-American criminal so-called neighborhood organizing group. Liah liah pants on fiah. The Messiah is a liah.  Thanks, Beck. We will be showing this video to anyone who comes to our homes.

An open letter to President Obama…

Mr. President,

We watched you give yet another speech tonight. Of course, this time, it was completely appropriate as it was the State of the Union speech. We haven’t had time to really examine it (transcripts and recordings), but we have some initial impressions.

#1 – You talk a good game; but it only works if people don’t remember 2009.  We, at O-t-c, do remember 2009, and we’re hanged if we’re going to let anyone else forget.

#2 – Your calls for bipartisanship ring hollower than a termite infested tree stump. Where were your calls for bipartisanship in 2009? Where was your effort to tell Nancy Pelosi and her demons to tone down the incivility and to bring Republicans and Independents to the table? We watched all year long for such efforts, Mr. President. They never ever happened.

#3 – For the first time in memory, you actually praised America and almost – almost – acknowledged our exceptionalism. Of course, you didn’t use that word. Why is that, Mr. President?

#4 – You said that you deserved some of the setbacks you received. But you didn’t itemize any of them? What setbacks did you deserve, Mr. President. We can think of many, but it would be good to hear it from you directly. What don’t you blame on the previous administration – besides your inability to articulate with sufficient clarity and persuasiveness how abominations like Pelosi’s and Reid’s health care atrocities would actually be good for us.

#5 – The surprise of the night: you actually went against your base and called for opening up nuclear power plants. A few of us had our jaws drop on that one. Ditto with the idea of opening up Federal lands for oil drilling. Of course, talk is cheap. We’ll be watching to see if you deliver.

#6 – Your spending freeze seems like a fraud to us. You said you’ll freeze spending in 2011. That gives you all of 2010 to hike the spending beyond any conceivable limit and then freeze it there.

#7 – During 2009 you said that there were hundreds of millions of dollars in fraud and waste to be removed from the health care system. Well – how about going after it, Mr. President. Show us the money! Why do we have to wait for health care deformity before you start enforcing the laws against fraud and doing the work of a good manager and reigning in the wasteful spending?

#8 – There were a few self-deprecating moments in the speech. You almost seemed human. We recommend you do more of that.

#9 – There’s a difference between going after something that’s right and dictating what that something should be. It is your fault that We the People don’t trust the health care deformation efforts. Your fault. You tried to ram it through – without giving anyone time to see what was in it – more than a thousand pages – before the August recess. Remember that? How was that transparent, Mr. President? On what basis were we supposed to trust the process, or you, or Pelosi – especially with you marginalizing and demonizing everyone who opposed you.

You don’t get off the hook, Mr. President, just because you give a mildly friendly speech. You have a lot of work to rebuild trust with we Independents. And if you want any of your legislative agenda to go through, without losing your party in November, you’d better start communicating straight with us and taking what we want into account. (Same for the Republicans.) We are tired of our choices being Tweedledee and Tweedledum. We want pragmatists who share our values. If you can’t manage that, Mr. President, then we recommend that you “get out of the way,” to coin a phrase.

Addendum: One more thought: We think that Nancy Pelosi, again, showed why we so despise her. As narcissistic as the President is, and we believe that he is exactly the person Carlie Simon was singing about with her song, “Your so vain, you probably think this song is about you…” But Pelosi? She makes Obama look like the most comfortable in his own skin; the least self-aggrandizing person in the world. There she was, preening every time the President said that the House had passed a bill. We felt like we were watching a toddler being told that she did a good job using the toilet. “What a good girl you are!”  Made us very queasy. Madam Speaker – you really need to get over yourself. You aren’t anything special other than to fellow stupids.  Oh – and Biden – the guy was nodding his head more than the bobble-headed versions of himself. It was like his neck was on a loose spring. Come on – you can’t be agreeing with every single word the President says in realtime. You at least should wait till he completes a thought, shouldn’t you? Geez.

Halle Berry and her boyfriend were whisked on through airport security, ahead of the rest of “the little people” there.

Maybe this is why all the Leftist celebrities are for Obamacare. They know that they’ll be whisked ahead of all the rest of us. They know that their little babies will be treated better than your little baby. And they know that their little babies will be treated with your tax dollars evnen through they could afford to buy their own health care.

But don’t you worry your little head about it. Obama has your back. [snicker]

So – once again – we see it is liberals who are so blasted focused on race. While most people we know – Independents and Conservatives, took Martin Luther King’s words seriously (content of character being the important thing), Liberals do not. Proof? Try this about Harry “The Slimey” Reid: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100109/ap_on_el_se/us_obama_reid

Could you imagine the uproar there would be if an Independent or Conservative politician said such a thing? But no. Liberals give their own a free pass. It would be laughable were the consequences not so tragic or atrocious.

We so look forward to the day when these things – race, religion, cosmology, ethnicity, gender, etc. don’t matter – when people will voluntarily give up their stupid hyphens.

Harry Reid is a fossil. We do not know if Reid is a racist by our definition. We believe he is by his own definition, however. And thus he should resign. We don’t think he will, so we rely on the good people of Nevada to do the right thing and vote him out in a landslide repudiation in November.

And while Reid may not be a racist (by our definition), we do believe he is anti-American. He is one of those who would create an Elite Government class and lord it over the rest of us. This would not be America; it would be the old Soviet Union ported over here. Well, Harry – it ain’t gonna happen. You’re going to be voted out and if there are still enough Americans in this country – people who understand American history; who believe in the American Dream; who see America primarily as a force for good – then they will vote in a Congress formed of candidates who run on the platform of undoing every bit of mischief done in 2009 and 2010 by Obama, his crones (Pelosi, Boxer and Waters) from California, and his seedy, beady eyed mortician from Nevada.

An Open Letter to President Barak Hussein Obama – mmm mmm mmm:

An AP analysis of your Presidency in 2009 finds you irritated by the fact that people don’t remember”how bad it was” when you took office and how much “progress” you’ve generated for us in 2009. The AP analysis doesn’t analyze much, so we’re here to help. But let’s first begin with what little analysis it does do, because for the most part, it is reasonably well done.

The AP’s Ben Feller says it quite well: “He says “the buck stops with me,” but nearly a year into office, President Barack Obama is still blaming a lot of the nation’s troubles — the economy, terrorism, health care — on George W. Bush.”

And as to why the American people might not be ready to give you the B+ you give yourself?   Read more
