We have culled the list of those who voted for the monstrosity created by Pelosi and sanctioned by the Putz-in-Chief.
Before we provide the Roll Call on Evil, we want to pay especial attention to one Republican and one Democrat. Both from the same state: Louisiana. Representative Joseph Cao, the Republican, voted YES – voted with Pelosi. We recommend in the strongest terms that no matter where you live in this country, you send money to the campaign of whoever is running against Cao in the Republican primaries next year. This man is doubly evil because he voted for socialism and he poses as a Republican. Also of special mention – this time in terms of praise is the Democrat, Charlie Melancon – who voted NO on the health care legislation.
There are other Democrats who voted for America and against Pelosica. But the contrast is extremely stark in Louisiana.
If ever there was a reason for a third party, this is it. Ideally you should vote for the person and not for the party. We will present a voting strategy (for whatever it’s worth) that we believe could bring America back from the brink of socialism and potentially Marxism. We are at the threshold of what is known as a soft tyranny. Will we cross it and turn the American experiment into an abject failure? We are still betting that America is mightier than ObamicaPelosica. We still believe in the idea that is America. We believe that Obama and Pelosi don’t have a clue, and have no business being in the seats of power. That they are is an indication that We the People have gone soft headed.
Wake up!
OK – with that said, here is the list of Representatives (so called) who voted with Nancy “The TightBrain” Pelosi. These putzes all voted FOR the Speaker’s health care deformation legislation. Read more

Day 287
Ms. Scozzafava – why isn’t this woman a Democrat? The one-word answer: mole. A Democrat mole in the Republican party.
But this post isn’t about Scozzafava. Rather it’s about the Republican machine that lets a Scozzafava become a candidate.
We have been all over Obama for his non-existant vetting process – which lets him get all the Left wing, socialist/Marxist czars he wants. And we will continue to rail about this.
But it works the other way too. No one has a right to a GOP or a Donkey candidacy. You’d think that there’d be a vetting process through which people should have to run before they are put up as the candidate.
And you’d think that before someone like John Boehner, who we generally respect, agrees to get behind a candidate, that he would know something about the person he is backing. It’s kind of self-serving and unseemly to be crying about it now.
To back someone as a candidate without a vetting process is kind of like supporting a piece of legislation that’s going to cost a trillion+ dollars without understanding what you’re voting for. We submit that this might even be worse because could you imagine the damage that a RINO (Republican in name only) mole could do to conservatives? You think you have votes to stop a monstrous Pelosi-dungpiece, and then on the day of the vote you find that the RINO votes with your opposition and turns America, almost overnight, into a socialist paradise like Venezuela.
A note to Republican officials everywhere: you are not much liked these days. We are voting you in not because we like you. We’re voting you in because you are telling us you’re a different stripe than a marxist socialist. But we are watching. And we are incredibly gratified that there are people like Doug Hoffman who are willing to take on the Republican establishment, and who, despite the RINO, Scozzafava, throwing in with the Democrat, that Hoffman apparently leads in the New York district race. Hopefully we’ll know more tonight.
But win or lose, Hoffman shows us one thing: that it is time to hold the Republicans as accountable as we hold the Democrats. They betrayed conservaatives during Bush’s second term. We can’t begin to tell you how angry we are at Republicans for setting up the conditions to give us the Messiah. We’re going to give you idiots one more chance. If you can’t do better, then we’re going to be supporting every conservative 3rd party alternative we see. And we will hope that Republicans and Democrats all go the way of the dinosaurs – for the sake of our country.
Show us that we’re mistaken, Republicans. Don’t tell us. Show us. Show us what limited government, free enterprise, reasonable regulation, honest brokering means. Show us what secure borders means. Show us that you know how to fight a war in a God-awful place like Afghanistan with a mind to win that war. Show us how to end political correctness. Be an advocate for the removal of the hyphens that separate us, so we can all be Americans first and whatever our stupid ethnicities, heritages, etc. are can become a distant second. Shouldn’t our identities be based on our aspirations and intentions instead of the rear-view mirror?
Show us, Republican officials, that you comprise a meaningful difference from the Democrats. We are watching – you are warned.

We are very disappointed with FoxNews. We normally, and still, consider that venue to be a worthy source of news. But this is one of those times where “fair and balanced” is clearly not shining through.
We told you back on November 18th that we were taking a new look at Al Franken, given the hearing he had regarding Jamie Leigh Jones’ effort to have her day in court. The crimes committed against her make anything Carrie Prejean had to deal with look trivial by comparison. They make anything the 13 year old girl raped by Polanski, bad as that was, pale by comparison.
FoxNews makes a big deal of these two – and rightly so.
They are AWOL when it comes to the plight of Jamie Leigh Jones. We found this article at the Spokane Examiner, and we can’t agree more. (We believe those commenting below the article are largely misguided, and they should read our our November 18th post.) We want to see conservatives and anyone who plays fair get behind Ms. Jones and others similarly situated. The idea that a United States citizen can, while under a government contractor’s employ be raped, gang raped, and disfigured by that contractor’s employees and not have recourse to Federal courts is an outrage.
Come on FoxNews. Get your heads out of your collective buttocks and come to this woman’s aid. Or is your dislike of Al Franken more important than the possibility that Ms. Jones will finally find the justice she seeks and deserves? Are you fair and balanced, or are you something disappointingly less than that?

Anyone who reads this blog – or just scans it – knows we like FoxNews. We believe that they are, in the main, fair and balanced in their reportage, just as they say they are. They lean heavily right in their commentary, but in the journalism, we believe they try to be fair.
It is no secret that a feud of sorts exists between Bill O’Reilly and the Al Franken, now a Senator from Minnesota. We have taken O’Reilly at his word that Franken is not someone to be trusted.
However, we have been alerted to a Youtube video that is making us take a real look at Al Franken. We make it available below.
We don’t know the whole story of what has transpired between Jamie Leigh Jones and Mr. Mark de Bernardo. Part of the reason for this is that it has not appeared much at all on FoxNews. To be fair, we haven’t seen it on CNN either. But we don’t really have high expectations for CNN. We do have very high standards for FoxNews. We would hate to see these standards tarnished.
We have said a great deal about the mistreatment of Carrie Prejean. And we stand by our comments. But clearly what happened to Ms. Jones – and no one seems to be contesting the facts (that she was drugged, raped, gang raped, brutalized to the point of needing reconstructive surgery, etc.) – is far worse. Far worse. No comparison. In the Prejean case, a woman is stripped of a beauty pageant title and made fun of, while the Putz-in-Chief stands by and lets her take the arrows he could have deflected. OK – that’s bad.
But it doesn’t compare to gang rape and brutalization. Ask Ms. Prejean which she would rather have happen to her. Ask which you’d rather have happen to any woman you know and like.
If the law means anything, it means that we are protected in our person - that our safety is job one for the government.
Ms. Jones has been fighting for her day in court for four long years. And KBR has been doing its worst to keep that from happening. We call on FoxNews to bring this to the light of day. You were great in taking on the injustice committed against Carrie Prejean. It is high time – high time – you go after the bastards (excuse our French) who committed these atrocities against Ms. Jamie Leigh Jones. Anything short of this will knock down our esteem of FoxNews, quite signficantly.
We have been without a political home since George W. Bush tried to appease the Left. Are we now without a news media home? We hope not. We call on FoxNews to do the right thing. Bring light to Ms. Jones plight at least as much as you did for Carrie Prejean. Common decency and intellectual integrity require this of a fair and balanced news organization – even if it is Al Franken who brought this to our attention. Kudos to Mr. Franken.
And we wish Ms. Jones, and all the women she is fighting for the best.

So we have now, all of us, watched El Presidentè’s speech at least 2x; some of us more than that, which we find, mmm… interesting. Again, by and large, we found it to be a big yawn. But we have taken on the task of evaluating this president because we find his actions so appalling; so contrary to what we see as the American Way.
One of the first things we noticed is that Obama can articulate the American Way to at least some extent. He used words like rugged individualism (we imagine that many on the Left cringed when he said that, but then winked when they realized he was just trying to making nice with his political antagonists.) This guy believes in rugged individualism, as in swept under the rug. The idea that any of us will think for ourselves; will evaluate what he does for ourselves, without accepting him at face value is something he cannot stand.
And because he has majorities in both houses of Congress, he doesn’t have to. Thus we come to our first conclusion: El Presidentè was largely disingenuous. How he could do that with his wife watching is interesting.
The second thing is that he scolded those who were trying to make cheap political points or who were calling people they disagreed with names. Mr. President, if you want to get Independents to give you another hearing, we have five words for you: “Get rid of Nancy Pelosi.” If you do that, we will be willing to consider the possibility that you are sincere.
But to tell us that we are intolerant when Nancy “The Broomless-Brainless Witch” Pelosi is the one – with the power of Government behind her – calling us “astroturf” (meaning not real Americans) and Nazis, is simply unbelievable. You reign in the witch on your own side, and we’ll take a look at your sincerity. Until then, you’ll understand that we still consider you a Putz and a windbag. Don’t like our name calling? Reign in the Kumquat from San Francisco, and we’ll tone it down a bit. Till the, as characters in Monty Python would say, “Piss off.”
OK – to the substance of the speech: We know you are an attorney. We know you were a professor. That means you are capable of being very precise with your choice of words. That means that you can easily choose words that sound one way, but give you wiggle room to go the opposite without appearing to be a liar. We believe you did this last night, Mr. President. And if we’re correct, the word Putz doesn’t even come close.
One of the things you said is that if there was a government option, no one would be forced off their private care. But here’s the deal – and you know it, sir. You know it. The way the current bills are structured, a company can either pay for healthcare or pay a penalty into “the system.” But the penalty costs less than the healthcare. So many businesses will simply say that it’s cheaper to subsidize the Federal option than to pay private insurers.
That means that private insurers will be squeezed out of business by the Government option. Thus, those who had private health care and liked it, will no longer have private carriers to turn to. So what then, Mr. President. Come on… we see that little twinkle in your eye – that little devious smile. It means we’ll have to get on the government plan! And you know it! And you didn’t speak the truth about it! That means you were disingenuous at least twice in this speech, which makes you a two-time Putz-in-Chief. (Hear the bell. Ding-ding-ding-ding-ding-ding-ding – we have a winner!)
And then you say that we can save big bucks by reigning in fraud and waste in the current system. How about showing us that you can do it right now! Everyone, other than your side, wants it done. You don’t need to pass any new laws to go after fraud. You just have to do your blasted job, part of which is enforcing the law (you are the top law enforcement officer in this country, are you not?) as it exists! You don’t need Congress to debate anything; there’s nothing that needs discussion.
Show us you can find the fraud and bring the perps to justice. But you won’t do that because you know that most of the fraud is committed by Democrats – your constituents. So going after fraud is a non-starter. And it will continue to be a non-starter if you get your way on this.
Now – a message to Republican congresspeople and senators:
You are the only ones standing as guards at the gates. We know you can’t stop Obama if he goes full steam ahead in a totally partisan way. Our warning to all of you is that if Obama does go forward in a totally partisan way, your job is to let him. Just slow him down as best you can, and when all avenues avaiable to you are done, stand out of the way. Under no circumstances are you to vote with the Democrats. If you vote with the Democrats on a plan that includes the government option (or a stupid subtrefuge like the Witch’s “trigger”), we will vote you out of office. No explanations will be tolerated here at Off-the-cliff.com. This is our line in the sand; our litmus test. Either you understand that the President is a Putz, a man who plays in bad-faith, and act accordingly, or you’re on his side, in which case, you are against the American way of life, and we will have no use for you.
Don’t side with the Messiah on this. We are specifically calling out Rhinos like Olympia Snow. Do NOT vote for the Putz-in-Chief’s product if it even comes close to having a government option.
This is a pivotal time in our country. Will be be America or Amerika? Given a choice, we will side with America, and all her warts, every time, over the air-brushed, pretty, but completely evil Amerika that Obama is trying to set up. Republicans – we are holding you especially accountable here. Don’t screw up.
