We at Off-the-cliff.com believe in a fair election; an unbiased vote; a vote free of voter intimidation (no thanks to the coward Eric Holder) and free of voter registration fraud and outright voter fraud (no thanks to Democrats in general). We believe in an OPEN count of the vote – not behind closed doors as the Democrats tried to do in the 2000 Florida election, when we had the very first glimmer of average everyday Americans rising up in outrage (what a glorious sight that was).
We believe it’s not just a happy circumstance that virtually every single time a new box of votes is “found” after an election, it leans heavily Democrat. We believe this unhappy circumstance is voter fraud pure and simple.
So we have very good reason for distrusting Democrats in general. It’s unfortunate, but we call it like we see it.
Let’s take a nice hop-skip-and-jump to Germany, where we see a new monstrosity relative the vote has reared its ugly head. Twitterleaks of key areas in the German election.
We (fruitlessly and thus stupid-like-Pelosi) call on those in charge of the 2010 vote to fix this before it becomes a problem in America. You have 13 months or so to take a good hard look and spend a billion or two dollars on something that really matters – voter integrity reform. What good is everything else in our democratic republic if people can rig the elections to “vote” into place anything they want – including health care changes (in the name of the peoples, of course).
So Mr. Obama (LOL), will you fix (excuse our pun) the machinery of the election so that we can have a fair (snicker) vote come November 2010?
We’re not holding our breath.

Senator Harry Reid must be feeling jealous of Nancy Pelosi’s stupidity. We know – it sounds ludicrous. How could anyone be jealous of someone else’s stupidity. But leave it to a Liberal Dem to try.
We refer you to the following column at the Las Vegas Review Journal, simply titled: Enough is enough, Harry.
In a nutshell (which apparently is bigger than Harry Reid’s brain), at a Chamber of Commerce meeting, he told a guy working for the newspaper that he hoped the paper would fail. (We’re sure that he was just fine when Rush Limbaugh said that he hoped the President would fail.)
So Reid shows himself to be every bit the bully that Pelosi is. He’s got miles to go before he catches her on the fast track to stupidom, but he’s well on his way.
So now it’s a race between Old Nag and First Order Jackass (FOJ). Old Nag has a long head start on FOJ, but FOJ seems determined to make sure Old Nag doesn’t cross the finish line first. Old Nag is rounding the track and FOJ seems to have slowed to a trot to get some money out of the ATM – oh wait a minute – that’s not an ATM – that’s a taxpayer’s wallet! What a moron! FOJ is back on the track as Old Nag starts the next lap. It’s an exciting race folks. Old Nag is the favored to win the Stupid Crown Cross, but FOJ is breathing fire. Who will win?

No – we’re not talking about Pelosi this time. Oink Oink.
We’re talking about the swine flu, also euphemistically called H1N1.
Apparently, without anyone realizing it, 10% of New York has been hit by the dreaded Pandemic of 2009.
Now – we have a question or two.
This is a HUGE disease if you measure HUGE by the level of government publicity (dare we call it hype? OK – we dare.)
But if 10% of New Yorkers have this sucker, how come we’re not seeing dead on the streets? How come we’re not seeing huge lines of people waiting for hours to get a shot of a not-yet-ready vaccine? How come we don’t see the major health services quarantining the afflicted?
If 10% of New Yorkers have the dreaded swine flu, doesn’t the Messiah care about these people, or has he thrown them under the bus, along with Jeremiah Wright, Carrie Prejean, and the Cambridge Police Department?
Or – oh – we know. All of the New Yorkers who have this dread disease are right-wing “astroturf Nazis” who have no business gumming up the works by exercising their First Amendment rights in town hall meetings.
Something isn’t adding up with this administration (we are sadly getting used to things not adding up at the White House) and the swine flu.
How bad is this disease population-wise, really. Obviously it’s bad for anyone who has people close to them who have died. We mean nothing disparaging toward actual victims of this disease. But compared to the normal, everyday flu, that gets no hype at all, this one seems, so far to be a piker – just like the President and his evil witch Pelosi.
What’s going on? Maybe some mainstream reporters can get over their sycophantic, boot-licking enchantment with the President for a minute and ask him some real questions for a change.

We just read that Southern California is (yet again) under siege from wildfires.
This takes to thoughts of Katrina, the Northridge Earthquake, Three Mile Island, and all the other various disasters that plague our great nation from time to time.
With all the TRILLIONS of dollars that our fearless leader is spending on secondary things like health care reform, closing down Gitmo, turning the war on terrorists (who would behead his skinny little neck faster than you can say “two-bit-rookie”) into a watered down police action, etc. – with all the trillions going to these and other relatively minor things, there seems to be no thought of the rainy (or as the case may be, fiery) day.
When – not if – but when the next huge earthquake hits, Mr. Obama, where are you going to get the money to rescue people. Or if it’s mainly old folks who are afflicted, will you call it a good start, and bulldoze the area to make way for younger, more worthwhile people, in the name of “sacrifices we all have to make.” OK – we exaggerate a bit. We don’t believe even Obama thinks like that.
But the question remains – where will you get the money, Mr. President when a major disaster hits. Or is it that now-a-days a few tens of billions here and another few tens of billions there is really just chump change?

We hear tell that the Obama-Pelosi-Hydra may go the “nuclear option” and ram their stupid health care bill through Congress without any Republicans signing on.
Oh we hope so. 
Please – make our day. We want to see you set up the ruination of the Democrat party for decades to come. We want to see you set up the demise of your stupid party in 2010.
And we don’t care if you’re a Democrat and vote against the bill. If a bill passes through this nuclear option, even if you vote against it, we will assume that you are an EVIL PERSON who has the worst interests of this country at heart. We will assume that you’re not only a snively, conniving, two-bit, kumquat Democrat, but you are a weasel as well.
No – your only options, dear legislators is to either KILL THIS BILL 100% OR leave your party. Become a registered Independent BEFORE THE VOTE.
Otherwise, we’ll believe that you are voting against the bill only to save your political career, and we will not honor that as a valid reason for voting against.
KILL THE BILL or LEAVE YOUR PARTY. Those are your only two choices. PERIOD.
And any Republican who votes for this monstrosity should be summarily tarred, feathered, put in a stockade for 10 years, made to breathe second-hand smoke, and be tickled with a feather on their butts. Not a pretty picture, but don’t you DARE be a traitor to this cause of destorying Obama-Pelosi-Kopekne care.
