As if we needed help to make our case.
So – it turns out that one of the major theses of so-called global warming was based on a speculation by a little-known scientist out of India followed by a series of so-called scientists playing the child’s game “telephone.” And on this flimsy bit of junk, American taxpayers were being boondoggled into Kyoto and Copenhagen efforts to send billions – if not trillions – of their hard earned dollars to other people who have not earned it!
If it were up to us, every single perpetrator of this fraud, and that’s what it was and is, should be locked in jail for 10 years. We double down on our last entry.
Scientists – if scientists you be – owe American taxpayers a huge apology. You should make it this year. You should be glad that we don’t get out the tar and feathers, for you make Bernie Madoff look like a small time carnival barker playing the shell game for some cheap laughs.
Apologize – if you have the humanity and the decency to do so.
Note: If you are not a scientist, and if you do not understand the rigors of the scientific method, this entry is not to you. It is to the people who have studied the scientific method, who respect it, who believe it is the best hope at getting at the structure of our world. If that’s not you, but your a “climate change” proponent or an “environmentalist”, you are a political animal – not a scientist. This entry is for scientists who might happen to come across this blog. Unlikely, but what the heck.

An open letter to scientists in the area of ecology, meteorology and climatology:
We at O-t-c believe that most people who call themselves scientists WANT to perform per the scientific method. We also believe that environmentalism has put people into your field who have virtually destroyed it – especially insofar as Read more
Democrats are apparently worried about the vote in Massachusetts and it is causing them to squeal with greater urgency as they try to come up with some way to ram their Health Deformity Package down our throats and up the other end.
They needn’t worry about Massachusetts, though we wish them many more gray hairs born of worry.
Even though Brown is ahead of Coakly in the polls, he is not enough ahead to stop Democrats from stealing the election as they try to do with all close elections. We fully expect, and predict the following:
1 – There will be people at the voting booths dressed in Black Panther regalia demanding to know who someone will vote for before they are “allowed” in. The Coward, Eric Holder, has very likely installed the Black Panthers as a new secret police force to make sure that “social justice” is carried out.
2 – Even so, the election will be close. Probably within a few hundred. Certainly no more than a couple thousand.
3 – This will be close enough to generate an automatic recount. If there is no recount, we would expect Brown to win.
4 – The recount will involve “honorable” (hah!) Democrats having the majority of people doing the recounting.
5 – The difference will narrow, but Brown will still squeak by.
6 – Suddenly – miraculously – someone will find a box of ballots behind a wall, or in the trunk of her car, or at the local Burger King – that has a thousand “uncounted” ballots. How, it will be asked, can there be an election in good faith (hah!) if every ballot is not counted.
7 – These “new” ballots will put Coakly over the top by about 42 votes, and that will be that.
Somewhere in the mix, military votes will not be counted. And somewhere in the mix will be ACORN and SEIU making sure that the Democrats win – by hook or by crook, but mainly by crook.
So you see – Coakly needn’t really worry. It’s a shoo-win. In fact, she probably isn’t worried, and neither are most Democrats. It’s all just for show to make most Americans feel good about “performing their duty” in participating in elections. But we believe – we fully believe – that in close elections, conservatives have to do everything in their power to make sure it’s not close. Until ACORN and SEIU are buried deep in the ground, until their members are scattered like so much dust in the wind – until that day, conservatives must make every single vote count.
There is no room for voting for a third party at this time. Vote for a third party, and you make the election closer. The Democrats will win in close elections because they don’t play honorably. Don’t be their patsy. We are holding our noses and voting Republican this cycle every chance we get. The Republicans haven’t earned it; not by a long shot. But they have one quality that overwhelmingly makes them better than virtually any Democrat: they are not Democrats!
We need to stop the Pretend-Messiah. The only way to do that right now is with Republicans. Once the Pretend-Messiah is stopped, then we can start looking at third party candidates. But whatever you do – this cycle – don’t split the conservative vote! It’s a surefire way to give Obama and his minions the very helping hand you would try to deny him.
