Well, it’s been more than a month again…
Not much has changed. As anyone with an ounce of sense knew, the Messiah hasn’t been able to command the oil from the Gulf well to stop. Some God the Messiah turned out to be. What’s that? He never claimed to be a God? Could have fooled us…
In our last post we said that the President acted Presidential – not scapegoating BP. We spoke to soon. True to form, the President wants to know who’s “ass to kick.” Way to get mad, Mr. President. Way to show you’ve got emotion. Like emotion is what matters here.
While we acknowledge that as an engineering problem, stopping the leak may be extremely difficult, we believe it remains an engineering problem – and not a political one; except in this: What would have happened if we didn’t have a ban on close-to-shore, shallow drilling? What if the oil companies didn’t have to put down shafts where they are neraly inaccessible?
We lay the location of the drilling platform at the feet of the environmentalist whack-jobs who wouldn’t know a scientific fact from their horoscope if their lives depended on it.
Mr. President… why don’t you step down, and let someone with a brain – perhaps Lady Gaga – take over. At least she’s a tad entertaining. What’ve you got? Nothing. Squat. Zilch.
Time for you to go, Mr. Prez.

We’ve been quiet here for quite some time. Our last post was more than a month ago.
Why?
The reason is simple. We believe that the the cast has hardened. And what we are seeing is more and more heat and less and less light. We find it boring, and we have other things to do.
We know how we are voting.
While everyone here at O-t-c is registered as Independent, we will be voting nearly straight Republican line, unless we believe that an Independent who is truly conservative has a real chance of winning. We would love nothing better than to have conservative Independents win. But they have a job to do: they have to make a very strong showing in the polls. If they can’t do that, then they haven’t closed the deal with the voters, and we’re hanged if we’re going to let Democrats have another chance to control things without a fight.
We want Democrats – and liberals everywhere – to have sleepless nights. We want them to worry about life. We have gone, ad nauseum, into the reasons why. Those reasons have neither changed, nor do they need any updating.
As a matter of fairness (which the Left knows nothing about): We watched much of Obama’s news conference yesterday regarding the disaster south of Louisiana in the Gulf. We believe he acquitted himself well during this conference. We say to him this: what a shame. What a shame that you didn’t act like this with respect to the banking and credit crisis. What a shame you didn’t act like this with respect to the health insurance deformations you’ve inflicted on this country. In THIS disaster you seem to be doing some of the right things; and you haven’t demonized BP. Why couldn’t you do that during the fiscal disasters of last year? Why couldn’t you do that when you were nationalizing automobile companies?
If you had been Presidential with the other problems this country faced and faces, we would have felt no need to start Off-the-cliff.com in the first place!
What a shame, Mr. President. A dirty rotten shame.

Once again, the Messiah is “blah-blah-blahing” to Iran and Iran is yawning. . don’t know what the USA can do at this point. Obama has squandered so many opportunities to reign in the Iranian beast. Instead he has spent his time going after America’s real enemies: people in the Tea Party movement, talk radio, insurance companies, the auto industry (which he has almost single-handedly has laid to waste), the bankers, FoxNews, the Drugde Report, and conservatives in general.
There are two cards that we see yet to be played; one more preferred here at O-t-c than the other.
1 – The people of Iran could overthrow the idiots currently in charge. They don’t need America to do it, and we don’t know if they physically can do it. But if they took over, and if they believed that Americans were in their corner rooting for them, this could be a very good thing. But we’re not holding our breath on any of this. Not them taking over. Not them believing that we’re really in their corner if they do. And not believing that the Putz-in-Chief will do anything that would give them grounds to believe we’re in their corner.
2 – Israel can attack. If Israel attacks, we hope they do it ruthlessly. No mercy to the population; no restraint on the infrastructure. Here’s why, and it’s not because we wish the Iranian population at large harm. We don’t – even though they’ve given us no reason to believe them to be our friends. No – the reason is that many military analysts say that Israel doesn’t have the firepower to take out Iran’s nuclear program. Add to this the near certainty that if they attack Iran, nearly every other state in the Middle East will rally to Iran’s cause and go up militarily against Israel. We fully believe that the Putz-in-Chief will not come to Israel’s side. We believe he is an anti-Semite and would love nothing better than to have Iran take out Israel. So Obama will do nothing.
We recall how Israel fared by acting with restraint during the war against Hzbollah a few years back. They got smacked around, not only militarily, but in the court of public opinion. There is no reason to believe that the court of public opinion is now on Israel’s side. It hasn’t been in at least 10 years, maybe more. American Liberal Jews despise Israel, which is why they are part of the Democrat party, despite the rank anti-Semitism there. With friends like American Liberal Jews, Israel doesn’t need any enemies – even though enemies abound.
So – trying to curry favor in the public eye by showing restraint is an idiot move from the jump. There is thus only one option, should Israel start military operations.
Kill and destroy. Period. Destroy all infrastructure – civilian and military. Take out whoever has to be taken out in order to take down the infrastructure. No more hands-behind-back deployment. No more stupid rules of engagement. The enemy has shown itself to be barbaric in the extreme. Israel (and the U.S. for that matter) can’t come to a gun fight with boxing gloves – tied behind the back no less.
Destroy every major building in Tehran. Destroy Mecca. Destroy every possible vestige of what passes for civilization in that deplorable part of the world. Do that and it won’t matter that Iran still has a “nuclear program.” It won’t have people enough to make it work. It won’t have infrastructure to get supplies into the program. It won’t have roads, ports or anything else of value. Bomb the entire nation back to the stone age and then offer to help with reconstruction. If they refuse, bomb them again. Bomb them until they are either all dead or until they surrender. One way or the other.
Israel has been exceptionally patient, trying to work with duplicitous liars, cheats and barbarians. The experiment has failed, as any thinking person knew from the outset that it would. Barbarians understand only one thing: death. They may not even understand that. There is no dealing with such people.
We throw our support 100% behind Israel and we think America should too. But that would require Obama and his minions to be whisked out of the White House and for the White House to be hosed down from the stench of a socialist sleeping there.
May America never again – NEVER AGAIN – put a socialist in power. May the Democrat party either come to its senses or be destroyed as an effective force. And may the rank and file Democrats either come to their senses or get a taxpayer paid lobotomy and be warehoused where they can’t do any more damage.

President Obama has this in common with Stalin: he’s a bully. To be sure, Stalin was worse (so far), but they are like peas in a pod. If someone disagrees with The Messiah, he throws them under the bus.
He did this with the Cambridge Police Department when one of their own arrested one of Obama’s friends, one Professor Gates, who caused a ruckus and refused to cooperate with the police when they responded to the report of a possible break-in. He does this often with people on Wall Street, corporate CEOs, bankers, people making more than $250,000 a year (like that’s a demonic number), etc.
The latest: Israel.
Rather than showing how macho he is with North Korea and Iran, he takes “unilateral swipes” at Israel (http://bit.ly/bdtPbN), which is somewhat dependent on the USA for its security. Does Obama take the Palestinians to task for lobbing missiles at Israel while there is supposed to be a truce going on? No. Does the Amazing Obama actually deliver up sanctions agains Iran? No. Does he show solidarity with the people under Ahmadinijad’s boot? No.
What good is this President? What do we need a guy who knows only how to bully people who are America’s friends and allies?
We believe – again – that this man is the worst President, by far, exceeding the lunancy of Jimmy Carter and Algore rolled into one super-colassal failure. Can someone please give the President some smarts and civility pills?

Imagine yourself relaxing. Imagine Congress doing right by the American people. Imagine an Administration that doesn’t want to “fundamentally transform” what has been the best country to ever come upon the face of the Earth.
Can you imagine it?
Then you’re not imagining the Obamunist Administration. You’re not having nightmares of Pelosi dancing on your grandmother’s grave. You’re not having visions of Reid lying with every breath he takes.
It has been 416 days since Obama started putting his heel on America’s throat. And it’s been 416 days that we have been a nation where the majority of us are being taxed without representation.
At its founding, brave souls told the British tyrants to go take a leap in the Boston Harbor and they threw in all the tea they could find. Thus we had the first American Tea Party.
We live in coarser times now. We have people on the Left who want to destroy America, and we can’t let them do it. It’s time to throw away the tea bags, and start saving up rotten eggs.
It’s time to start doing real civil disobedience – being disruptive without being illegal.
Here’s an idea: what if 2000 grandparents flooded all the bus stops currently being used mainly by indigent people? And these grandparents simply paid to get on the bus, squeezing out space for anyone else?
Why pick on the indigent? Simple. They are the people who see nothing wrong with taking ever increasing swaths of taxpayer’s wallets in order to stay dependent on the Feds and the State governments. They are the primary pawns of the Democrat party.
If we legally interfere with them – by paying bus fare en masse – and we make it known why, the indigent will realize that the things they want are causing their lives to be disrupted. They will all the sudden have a stake in the game and perhaps realize you can’t legitimately be a long term parasite on We the Taxpayers.
Don’t call we at O-t-c heartless. Call the Democrats clueless instead.
We at O-t-c believe in safety nets. We do not believe in redistribution of wealth so that the political class can control things beyond what we have consented for them to control.
It is time to bring out the rotten eggs and rotten mushy tomatoes to throw in the general direction of all Democrat politicians.
America is crying for help from patriots.
It is time to make Obama’s, Pelosi’s and Reid’s lives living hells. It is time to make them feel the full wrath of citizens against socialism, communism and Marxism.
It is the only way we will be able to bring America back from the political brink of hell.
